Hiccup’s first fully sustainable art party
Hiccup’s first sustainable art party is coming to Marrickville Bowlo on August 3. The festival will feature artists and musicians who are concerned with climate change and sustainability. It will also use recycled materials. The proceeds from the event will benefit Friends of the Earth Australia.
Hiccup is a 10-and-a-half-year-old boy from the Hairy Hooligan tribe. He has a sense of responsibility and is a very good swordsman. But he is often depressed by the idea that his father might not find a heir. Despite this, Hiccup sets out on a quest to save the dragons of the Wilderwest and bring Firestone back to the volcano.
Along the way, Hiccup finds a group of slaves known as Northern Wanderers. Fortunately, he is able to rescue them from Roman dragon hunters.
After the war, Hiccup creates a new celebration. This is called Celebration of the Black Star and will be held at the Marrickville Bowlo on August 3. Guests will be able to enjoy music and eco-friendly installations. Featuring 11 local artists, the party will raise money for Friends of the Earth Australia.
The festival is being hosted by the Inner West Council and the Marrickville Bowlo. It is part of the Immersive Arts program. Some of the featured artists will include experimental designer Anna Mould, local musos, and DJs Eddy Diamond and Lorna Clarkson.
During the party, there will be live music, an art installation, and recycled materials. Attendees will receive a gift bag.
