Manly Beach

This dive site is located in a protected marine reserve. It is home to over 160 species of fish and Port Jackson sharks.
The site is not overly crowded. Nevertheless, it can be a challenge to enter and exit the water. You should be prepared for this.
If you’re a beginner, the site is perfect. You’ll be able to see plenty of aquatic life, including seadragons, stingrays, and wobbegongs.
The eastern blue groper is the marine symbol of New South Wales. A swell in the NE can produce an opportunity to spot one.
Other noteworthy marine life you’ll find at the site include black cod, pygmy pipe horses, and weedy sea dragons. During the summer months, you’ll probably encounter more people than usual. However, the winter months are better for spotting dusky whaler sharks.
